There are 6 fours (one of which has the result digits around the base instead of around the pinnacle); 37 sixes (10 clear mini, 1 opaque mini, 1 grande, 3 with a symbol in place of the 6, 14 with pips, and 8 with digits); 5 eights; 9 tens; 10 twelves; 22 twenties; 5 hundreds; and 7 in the matching green-speckled set. Postman gave me a pound of dice this morning, so I thought I'd follow fashion and post the distribution. Grand total of 101.My use will be random number generation rather than gaming, so the distribution suits me fine. I noticed no imperfections while sorting the lot, though a few are difficult to read, due to the lack of contrast between the numbers and the surface colour. Most of those few have 2-colour surfaces, where light numbers on the dark portion are easy to read, but light on the light portion strains the eyes.Onward to the distribution. A gamer might be disappointed in such a preponderance of sixes and twenties. But if the quality of this pound is typical of Chessex, no one should be disappointed in the quality and value of these dice.
I was really excited to get my Bag-O-Dice in the mail, but was very unhappy when I opened it up.the bag was mainly D20's and D8's.I only had enough dice to make up two other complete sets (not counting the separate complete set that came with it).Plus the bag only came with 3 D12's.I would still recommend this product to others, but be wary. It would seem that some get luckier than others with the contents.
The mini D6's were cute, but I'm glad there weren't that many of them. D6 pip = 11D6 # = 11D8 = 12D10 = 20D12 = 4D20 = 15D100 = 6I like to play Yahtzee, so, I was hoping there would be 5 matching D6 with pips, and there were not; other than that, my boyfriend was thrilled with this assortment (he's into RPG's), and I thought it was pretty cool. Complete Set = White with red specks, like cherry chip ice cream D4 = 9D6 Mini = 9D6 Jumbo = 1 (awesome). They would be adorable used in craft projects. The unique colors are definitely going to be conversation starters. I loved the jumbo D6. Would like to buy more pounds-o-dice, and might get the pound-o-D6's in the quest for some cool Yahtzee sets. Overall, very worth it.
I wish I had received more than 2 d12 or 4 d4s. Myself being a neat freak, counted the dice I received and separated them into different types. Not terribly useful dice, but it would be easier not to lose them now. Over all I received 99 dice, which was way more than i could ever need more than likely. I know i recieved more than 20 d10s and 30 d6s. The colors the dice are are really sweet and enjoyable to look at. Other than the lack of d12 and d4s no real complaints.
these dice arrived promptly and are all new i loved the complete set and it now gives me extras to pass out durring the game so that my players can make a single roll instead of several.
